The Cavent dashboard showing a net-worth total and recent activity

You already have a system. It's a spreadsheet, and it's 70% right.

There's a tab you update when you remember. A pot you forgot to add. A pension you've never opened. You half-know you're fine — you just can't see it.

Cavent is that spreadsheet, finished.

What makes it different

The money admin nobody else tracks

Other apps stop at your balances. The things that actually eat your money have a home here.

Trips and leave

Plan a trip, set what it should cost, watch it as you go. Your annual leave sits alongside it, because the two are the same decision.

Presents and people

Tag spending to a person. See what Christmas actually cost, before next Christmas.

Salary, tax and pension — posted for you

Tell Cavent how you're paid once. Every month it posts your take-home, tax and pension contributions on its own.

The whole picture

One honest number, across everything

Current accounts, savings pots, ISAs and your allowance, pensions, property, cars, loans, credit cards, and the money you're owed and owe. Cavent adds it up and keeps a history, so you can see where you stand and how it's moving.

You enter it. That's the point.

  1. 1

    Set it up once

A guided walkthrough gets your accounts, pots and pension in. Ten minutes, at your own pace.

  2. 2

    Keep it current

About five minutes a week if you log your spending, less if you just keep balances up to date. Your salary posts itself either way.

  3. 3

    See where you stand

One number, always up to date, on any device.

No bank linking. Nothing reads your transactions. Cavent only knows what you tell it — which is exactly why it can't get it wrong behind your back.

Privacy

Your numbers, kept quiet

  • Hosted in the EU
  • Encrypted in transit and at rest
  • No ads, no data selling, ever
  • Export everything to a spreadsheet, or delete your account and all of it, whenever you want.

The maker

Built by one person, in the open

I'm Josh. I spend my working life pulling scattered numbers into one clear picture for businesses. My own money was the exception — spread across accounts, ISAs, a pension and a car, and living in a spreadsheet I only half-trusted. Cavent is the tool I built to fix that: everything I own and owe, in one number, updated in about five minutes a week. It's just me building it, and I read every email.

Questions, answered

Is it really free?
Free while we're in beta, with no card and no limits. If that changes, you'll hear it from me first and anyone already using Cavent gets looked after.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. There's no bank linking and no Open Banking. You enter your figures; Cavent never sees your transactions.
Is this financial advice?
No. Cavent shows you your own numbers. It doesn't recommend products, and it isn't advice.
What happens to my data?
It's yours. Hosted in the EU, encrypted, never sold, never used for ads. Export or delete it at any time.
What can I use it on?
Any browser, and it installs to your phone home screen. Native iOS and Android apps are coming.
Can I get my data back out?
Yes — a full export to a spreadsheet, whenever you want.
